Ira has over 35 years’ experience as a corporate executive, entrepreneur and business broker. He has owned and operated and sold several small businesses including retail apparel, food service and restaurants.
Following successful stints in the corporate world and owning several businesses, Ira began assisting his clients in preparing their businesses for sale, assigning a fair value to the business, developing a marketing strategy for a sale and identifying and introducing qualified buyers to the business opportunity. Ira has successfully assisted over 200 small businesses in the sales process over the past 25 years.
Prior to his career as a business broker, Ira was franchise Director for two national franchise firms.
Previous that, Ira was an accountant at Coopers & Lybrand (PWC).
Ira holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Marketing from Babson College.
Ira’s education, entrepreneurial background and extensive experience helping Buyers and Sellers navigate all aspects of the purchase and sale of a business makes him uniquely qualified to understand and work thru the many issues that come into play to get the desired outcome for both parties.
